Peopl are concerned with their health and I agree with this, we should be, after all our body's are the temple of the Holy Ghost. But we shouldn't neglect the health our spirit and mind. The Bible say's that we have the mind of christ. Don't allow your mind to continue to be governed by the dictates of the old man. Your mind must be re-programmed by the Spirit, the way to do this is to up-load Scripture into it.

Phil 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Like Jesus kicked the money changers out of the temple we must kick bad or negative thoughts out of our minds and memory's. Memorize Scripture to counter act all the bad thoughts you may have. When you use the word as a weapon you can win every time.

The same with your carnal man, he will control you if you let him, but as the scriptures teach us there is a new man in charge.

Rom 6:6-7

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Gal 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Don't be overcome by the enemy but overcome him by the blood of Christ and through the power of his name.

I was really angry all the time because I felt the world owed me for all the things I did to help others. I worked for many years only to lose my job and wasn't able to support my family. I used to bring my youngest child to the bus stop (which at the time, I didn't even know it was a church parking lot). One day this guy walks up and says Hi I'm Pastor Gene of New Life Worship Center and I said where is that and he pointed to the building I was standing next to.

We had a few laughs because, I had thought that it was a dance hall or something like a VFW. I had no clue. during the next few months I noticed that there wasn't to many cars in the parking lots on Sunday Mornings. So I talked to the pastor about doing a website for them for more exposure. He agreed and invited me into the church to look around then asked me If I would like to come on Sunday Morning to check it out. I went (reluctantly, because I wasn't ready for to go to church). Well, to my surprise I found it to be impacting and have been a member Since September 2008 and Got baptized in December 7 2008. It was a life changing experience and I was filled with the Holy Spirit, I even spoke in tongues. I am glad I made the decision to go to New Life Worship Center that day and I have been blessed beyond anything that any man can do.
